Royal Enfield Achieves Record Sales in September 2025, Surpassing 1.24 Lakh Units

In September 2025, Royal Enfield recorded domestic dispatches of 1,13,573 units, while exports reached 10,755 units.

Royal Enfield achieved its best-ever monthly performance in September 2025, surpassing 1.24 lakh units in total sales. The company reported 1,13,573 units in domestic dispatches and 10,755 units in exports, marking an impressive 42.94% year-on-year growth over the 86,978 units sold in September 2024.

On a month-on-month basis, Royal Enfield’s sales grew by just over 9% compared to August 2025’s figure of 1,14,002 units. The sub-350cc segment continued to be the mainstay of the brand, accounting for 86.45% of total sales with 1,07,478 units — a 42.67% increase year-on-year. Meanwhile, motorcycles above 350cc also posted strong gains, rising 44.67% year-on-year to 16,850 units.

With 91.35% of total sales coming from the domestic market, September marked another milestone for Royal Enfield in strengthening its dominance in the middleweight motorcycle segment. Exports contributed 8.65% to overall sales — a slight 3.33% decline from August — yet still reflected a robust 40.55% year-on-year increase.

In the second quarter of FY26, Royal Enfield recorded cumulative sales of 3,26,375 units, reflecting a 43.23% growth over Q2 FY25. Of this total, the sub-350cc segment accounted for 2,82,156 units, while motorcycles above 350cc contributed 44,219 units, registering a 26.83% rise. Exports during the quarter also surged by 55.06%, reaching 33,672 units.

Between April and September 2025, Royal Enfield sold 5,91,903 motorcycles, marking a 30.15% increase over the 4,54,779 units sold during the same period last year. Domestic sales contributed 5,21,482 units, while exports added 70,421 units. Segment-wise, the sub-350cc range posted a strong 31.62% year-to-date growth, reaching 5,09,610 units.

Premium motorcycles above 350cc registered a solid 21.76% growth, reaching 82,293 units. With robust demand at the onset of the festive season and the GST 2.0 reforms lowering overall costs, Royal Enfield seems well-positioned to sustain its growth momentum after achieving record-breaking sales.

The Chennai-based company is developing a range of new motorcycles across the 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc segments, alongside an upcoming lineup of electric vehicles.
