Shots Fired Near Disha Patani’s Home in Bareilly
According to reports, the firing occurred at villa number 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh — the residence of actor Disha Patani. Meanwhile, the Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. The post, attributed to Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran, stated that the attack was carried out in response to alleged insults against saints Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj, accusing the actress of attempting to demean Sanatan Dharma.

The post warned that insults to their revered deities “will not be tolerated,” calling the incident “just a trailer.” It threatened that if Disha Patani — or anyone else — again showed “obscenity” toward their religion, the gang would “not leave anyone alive” in their house. The message extended the warning to the entire film industry and those associated with it, saying anyone who insults their religion or saints should be prepared to face consequences. “If we have to go to any extent to protect our religion, we are ready,” the note concluded, adding that protecting religion and society is their foremost duty.

Disha Patani and her sister Khusboo have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident. For context, Khusboo Patani had earlier spoken out against spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya’s remarks on women and live-in relationships.

Responding to his remarks, she said, “He claims that women above 25 in live-in relationships go from one person to another. If he were around me, I would have made him understand the weight of the words he has used against women. Such views are anti-national and must not be supported.” Khushboo later clarified that her statement was misrepresented online, with false claims suggesting her comments were aimed at Premanand Ji Maharaj.
