Name in crores of scam and this viral post
It’s worth noting that the late Satyapal Malik’s name had surfaced in connection with the alleged ₹2,200 crore corruption case related to the Kiru Hydropower Project in Jammu and Kashmir. The CBI filed a chargesheet in the case, naming five individuals, including Malik. A social media post he shared in June went viral in response to the controversy. In the emotional message, he wrote: “I have been admitted to the hospital for the past month and am suffering from a kidney problem. I had to be shifted to the ICU again. My condition is becoming serious. I want to speak the truth to my countrymen—whether I live or not.” (Satya Pal Malik)

He made a big claim that while holding the post of Governor, he was offered bribes of Rs 150-150 crores, but he refused, following the path of honesty. Referring to the farmers’ movement, he said that as Governor, I raised the demands of the farmers without any political greed. In this post, Satyapal Malik also claimed that he lived a public life for more than 50 years, held high positions, but is still living in a one-room flat and is in debt. If I had money today, I would have got treatment in a private hospital.
