Rajasthan Woman Travels 600 Km to Meet Lover, He Murdered Her

Rajasthan Woman Murdered- In a shocking case of betrayal and murder, a 37-year-old woman from Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu was found dead in her car after traveling 600 kilometers to meet her lover. The accused, a schoolteacher, has been arrested for allegedly killing her with an iron rod after a heated confrontation over their relationship.

Relationship Turns Tragic

Mukesh Kumari, 37, worked as an anganwadi supervisor in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. About a decade ago, she separated from her husband and lived independently. In October last year, Mukesh connected with Manaram, a schoolteacher based in Barmer, through Facebook. Their virtual relationship soon turned into regular in-person meetings, with Mukesh frequently traveling long distances to meet him.

Her devotion was clear—Mukesh often drove her Alto car from Jhunjhunu to Barmer, covering nearly 600 km, in an effort to convince Manaram to marry her. While Mukesh was divorced, Manaram’s divorce case was still pending in court. Police reports suggest that Mukesh began pressuring Manaram to formalize their relationship through marriage, which led to frequent arguments between the two.

Fatal Confrontation

On September 10, determined to settle the matter once and for all, Mukesh drove all the way to Manaram’s village in Barmer. Upon arrival, she boldly told bystanders and family members about their relationship and her intention to marry him. This public declaration angered Manaram, prompting local police to be called.

Authorities counselled both parties and advised them to resolve the issue peacefully. Manaram assured Mukesh that they would discuss the matter later in the evening. However, later that day, during what was supposed to be a private conversation, Manaram allegedly struck Mukesh on the head with an iron rod, causing fatal injuries.

In an attempt to hide the crime, he placed Mukesh’s body in the driver’s seat of her car and rolled the vehicle off the road, trying to make it appear as though she died in an accident. Afterward, Manaram returned to his room and reportedly went to sleep as if nothing had happened.

Suspicious Circumstances Lead to Arrest

The next morning, Manaram instructed his lawyer to inform the police about Mukesh’s body in her car. However, police were suspicious of the circumstances surrounding the case. Their investigation revealed key evidence that pointed towards foul play.

Phone location data showed that Manaram and Mukesh were together at the time of her death. The forensic team and dog squad collected evidence from the scene, further strengthening the suspicion. During questioning, Manaram broke down and admitted to the crime.

Mukesh Kumari’s body is now in the morgue of the district hospital, awaiting arrival of her family members from Jhunjhunu. Police are continuing a thorough probe, including analyzing medical reports, vehicle forensics, and interviewing witnesses to reconstruct the events leading to the murder.

Authorities are also investigating whether any attempt was made to tamper with evidence and are examining Manaram’s background, personal relationships, and motives in greater detail.

A Tragic End to Love Story

This case highlights a tragic and disturbing aspect of relationships that begin online but end in betrayal. Mukesh Kumari’s attempt to pursue a lifelong commitment ended in an untimely death, raising serious concerns about trust, pressure in relationships, and the dangerous consequences of unreciprocated affection.

The police have assured the public that justice will be served, and a detailed report will be compiled once the investigation concludes. The community remains in shock as the story unfolds, awaiting a fair and transparent judicial process.
