Both the Maruti and Alto K10 come with a similar equipment list, including a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio and voice controls, front power windows, and manual AC. The S-Presso, however, gains an edge with features like electrically adjustable ORVMs and an idle start/stop system (petrol only), which are not available on the Alto K10. Conversely, the Alto K10 offers a 4-speaker audio setup, giving it an advantage over the 2-speaker system.
On the safety front, both hatchbacks come equipped with ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, and 3-point seatbelts for all seats. However, while the S-Presso offers only dual front airbags, the Alto K10 holds a clear advantage with six airbags as standard.

Rivals
Both the Maruti S-Presso and Alto K10 make solid choices as compact, city-friendly cars. However, even with a ₹20,000 higher price tag, the Alto K10 stands out as the better option thanks to its six standard airbags, compared to just two in the S-Presso. In today’s market, safety should be the top priority, which is why we recommend the Alto K10.
