Khan Sir struggles move his hands after more than 15,000 students tied rakhis on him.
In an Instagram video posted on August 9, 2025, Khan Sir revealed his hands so covered in rakhis that lifting them was a challenge. Smiling warmly, the beloved teacher proudly displayed his rakhi-covered wrists, clearly moved by the outpouring of love from his students.
viral video, Khan Sir was heard saying: “Aaj hunara Rakhi toh 15,000 se zyada ho gaya hai, uth bhi nahi pa raha haath mera… Is kalyug mein hum itne saubhagyashali hai jo itna rakhi bandha gaya hai yahan pe… saubhagya dekhiye, aaj koi behen, koi ladki kisi pe bharosa nahi kar paati hai, aur aaj itna saubhagya ka din hai mere liye.”
The original video has garnered over 8 million views in under 24 hours. Held at Patna’s Sri Krishna Memorial Hall, the event drew a huge crowd of Khan Sir’s students from across India, all eager to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with their favourite teacher-turned-brother. Calling the girls his ‘sisters,’ Khan Sir lauded them for transcending caste, religion, and state lines.
In his words: “Jaati, dharam, rajya, sabhi simayein langh kar, aaj manavta ke liye Raksha Bandhan manaya jaata hai. Is din ki shubhkamnayein pure deshvasiyon ko… Har Raksha Bandhan ke bad ye zimmedari hoti hai ek behen ki, hum wada karte hai, tahe dil se wo nibhayenge… pure vishwa ko batayenge, ki is tyohar ke upar koi tyohar nahi ho sakta.”

Khan Sir’s Raksha Bandhan surprise for his ‘sisters’
Khan Sir, celebrated for his affordable coaching and relatable teaching style, touched hearts by announcing a special Raksha Bandhan offer—reducing his GK GS Crash Course fee to just ₹99 for all his ‘sisters’ who couldn’t make it to the event. He announced:
“Jo ladkiyan nahi aa paayi, aur sabka kehna hai ki online walon ke liye kuch gift de dijiye, toh pura GK GS ka crash course keval Rs. 99 mein hum de diye hai.”

Enhancing the festive spirit, Khan Sir treated his students to a spread of 156 different dishes. At one point, he playfully quipped about needing a doctor as his hands had gone numb under the weight of so many rakhis—but the joyous celebration carried on.

Interestingly, biological sisters, yet since the start of his teaching career—long before he became a household name—he has celebrated Raksha Bandhan every year. In 2023, he even set a world record with over 7,000 rakhis tied on his wrists. This year, the affection of more than 15,000 sisters touched social media users deeply.
