Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital: Tuesday, November 11, Esha Deol’s ex-husband, businessman Bharat Takhtani, was seen arriving at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital to enquire about the health of veteran actor Dharmendra.
His visit followed the hospitalisation of Abhay Deol and other Deol family members.
Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital: Earlier in the day, Esha Deol set the record straight on her dad’s health with an Instagram post after several reports started circulating. Putting an end to the ongoing rumours, she said, “The media seems to be on another overdrive and cold false news seems to be on the agenda. My dad is doing fine and recovering. We are asking everyone to offer privacy for our family. Thank you for the prayers and for being such a good friend of Papa’s in these difficult days.”
Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital: Meanwhile, veteran actress and Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, was scathing in her criticism of false reports about her husband’s health. Addressing X, she continued: “What happened is a terrible heartbreak… What on earth?! How can such responsible channels spread false news about a man who is responding to treatment and getting better? This is just downright disrespectful and immature. Please kindly respect the privacy of the family.”

In an additional update, Sunny Deol’s team released a brief statement confirming the same. “Dharmendra is responding. Family is hoping for a miracle,” the note read.
