Coolie Box Office Collection Day 2 (Early Estimates)
By 9:00 PM on its second day, Coolie had already crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the domestic box office. The film earned ₹40.57 crore on Day 2, taking its overall total to ₹105.57 crore.
As per Sacnilk, until 6:00 PM on Friday, August 15, the film had collected in Coolie Box Office ₹25.94 crore net in India, bringing its two-day net total to ₹90.94 crore. With strong evening shows, the movie is expected to comfortably surpass the ₹100 crore milestone before the final numbers are updated in the morning.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Coolie Box Office collected a massive ₹65 crore net at the domestic box office on Day 1, surpassing War 2, which earned ₹52.5 crore net on Thursday. The Tamil version drove the majority of collections, followed by the Telugu screenings, while the Hindi version also made a notable contribution.
Occupancy Records
The film witnessed extraordinary footfalls across South India. On its premiere day, Tamil screenings recorded an impressive 86.99% occupancy, while the Telugu version had theatres nearly packed with 92.10% occupancy.
Star-Studded Cast
Alongside Rajinikanth in the lead, Coolie features an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruthi Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Aamir Khan in pivotal roles.

Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel revealed that Coolie earned a staggering ₹150 crore gross worldwide on Day 1, making it the biggest opener for a Tamil film, both in India and globally.

Giving the film a 3.5-star rating, Sumit Kadel praised its gripping narrative, writing:
“The film is packed with non-stop twists and turns every 15–20 minutes. Coolie tells the story of how Deva goes to unimaginable lengths to avenge the death of his friend Rajshekhar and protect his daughters. Overall, while Coolie may not reach the exact heights of Vikram or Kaithi, it is still a very good film.”
