And also he is a inspiration for the new generation or other to stay positive .Ding, a native of the southeast province of Fujian, took the gaokao, China’s national university admission exam, in 2004. He received an outstanding score of about 700 out of 750, which allowed him to be admitted to the prestigious Tsinghua University.

ursued further studies at another prestigious institution, Peking University, earning a master’s degree in energy engineering.He later received a PhD in biology from Nanyang Technological University, a top school in Singapore. Additionally, he obtained a master’s degree in biodiversity from Oxford University in Britain.

Before his role as a food delivery rider, Chinese delivery man Ding worked on postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where his contract ended in March last year. Despite sending out numerous resumes and attending over 10 interviews, he was unable to secure a suitable job.

As a result, he registered as a food delivery worker in Singapore, earning about SG$700 (US$550) per week by working 10 hours a day.

“It is a stable job. I can support my family with this income. If you work hard, you can earn a decent living. It’s not a bad job,” Ding shared on social media.

“One advantage of delivering food is that you can get your workout in at the same time,” added Ding, who is an avid running enthusiast.

Ding stated that he is “too shy to seek customers on his own,” which is why he decided against working as a private tutor for young pupils.A few months later, Ding returned to China and works as a food delivery driver for Beijing’s top e-commerce site, Meituan.

After sharing a video supporting pupils who had just finished the gaokao exam, he recently attracted a lot of attention online.The results of China’s gaokao test, which is held every year in early June, are made public toward the end of the month.

“Don’t give up or be negative if you haven’t seen positive outcomes. If you’ve done well, remember that, in the end, most people’s efforts don’t really matter,” Ding suggested. Ding said he did not choose private tutoring because he was too shy to find students himself. He has since returned to China and now works as a delivery rider in Beijing for Meituan, a major e-commerce platform.
