While Kiran and Anusha sustained minor injuries, Anitha suffered a fractured leg and had to undergo surgery at BGS Hospital.
Police Track the Car Using CCTV Footage
Initially, investigators struggled to trace the vehicle as it was listed as unidentified and believed to have been driven by a woman. However, upon reviewing CCTV footage from multiple locations around the accident site, the police managed to trace the car’s registration details.
Their investigation confirmed that the vehicle belonged to Kannada actress Divya Suresh. The footage reportedly showed Suresh behind the wheel at the time of the collision.
Following this revelation, police officials seized the car involved in the hit-and-run for forensic examination.
Actor Identified as Prime Suspect

Dr. Anoop Shetty, DCP (Traffic West), confirmed the development and said that the investigation is ongoing. “The car involved in the accident has been seized. Further investigation is underway to determine the sequence of events and confirm the level of involvement,” he said.
As of now, police are verifying whether Divya Suresh was driving under the influence or if there were other occupants in the vehicle. Sources indicate that officials are reviewing additional CCTV footage and phone records to piece together a clearer timeline of the incident.
Public Reaction and Legal Proceedings
The revelation that a known public figure is linked to the case has sparked widespread attention on social media. Many users have called for strict legal action if Suresh is found guilty, emphasizing the need for accountability regardless of celebrity status.
