Social media influencer Aanvi Kamdar slipped while filming near the waterfall. The rescue operation, hampered by inclement weather, involved multiple teams. Rescuer Shantanu Kuveskar stated, “She fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks around 300ft into the valley and couldn’t be spotted initially. She was sent up using a stretcher attached to rappelling ropes. Six rescuers climbed down the hill, while another 50 assisted atop the hillock.”

According to the profile the incident happened on 16 july around 10 a.m., when she was on a trip on Tuesday with her seven friends and that time the locals peoples had alerted the cops all of them, that had a dead to the spot at kumbe waterfall .

Raigad superintendent of police somnath Gharge said “she passed away during the treatment on july 18th in Angotaluka hospital .she was alive after the fall into the gorge at kumbe waterfall It was confirmed that she was breathing and on rescue , immediately rushed hospital,”
